Sources of My Own Money Scripts
My greatest money script comes from my self-belief that if I get more money, all of my problems will melt away. Earning more money will keep me and my family happy. Comparatively, my family members believe that money is evil as only selfish and greedy people earn lots of money. I also believe that earning more money makes a person selfish, as impregnated into my mind by peers. Despite this, I believe that I and my family deserve a better living standard as I grew up in a poverty stricken family. In all, my money scripts have two sources such as self-imposed and environment observation (peer pressure).
Breaking out of financial comfort zone and Raising or Lowering its Limits
I must break out of my current wealth belief and financial comfort zone as I am convinced that wealth is a mindset. To become financially independent, I must feel worthy and lots of positive self-respect. Therefore, I must raise the level of my comfort zone. By doing so, I will be able to have positive self-image and will be continuously inspired to take productive actions for skill improvement and career advancement. In contrast, if one fails to break out of existing comfort zone, such a person will regularly feel stress, shame and guilt. The secret is that financial status and comfort zone should be in alignment with one another.
Identification of Money Script having Negative Consequences
I believe that script 3 and 4 is problematic for me because it was believed earlier that money is a source of my happiness due to which I started to neglect my family and friends. My relationships were in turmoil as I kept money as a single source of my happiness. Believing that one deserves fewer amount of money results in a negative self-image that prevents a person to pursue skill development and career advancement. As there is always a room for financial success, script 5 is detrimental for my self-belief. Due to this script, self-respect of a person could decline dramatically.
Money Scripts that keep People with Higher Wealth and Income in Poor Spirits
If a person having higher amount of income and wealth resort to the fear of losing money, they remain in poo spirits. Moreover, those people that practice money scripts of accumulating more wealth and are never satisfied with current levels always have poor script of wealth accumulation. Similarly, people who accept that “money is bad” tend to have poor spirits. All these three groups can never enjoy life properly and have spirits because they consistently go through anxiety and fear.
Ways of Reinforcing the Five “Wealth” Scripts into One’s Thinking
Reducing the Risks of Money Scripts on Relationships
Poor spirit of money scripts may jeopardize the true essence of all relationships through careless interactions and rise of conflicts. Couples should work hard to earn more wealth in their young age to support themselves and immediate family. Parents should support their children in initial years of career development. Afterwards, children should be encouraged to work part or full time to finance their own education as well as activities. Additionally, they should be taught to spend wisely. No one should be allowed to hold others financially responsible. Giving kind gifts and helping poor loved ones is another way to keep relationships while minimizing their risk.
Need for Changing Thought Patterns Concerning Wealth and Financial Assets
For deeper awareness one must identify and understand different money scripts before employing them. After reading chapter eight, it is agreed that for accumulating more wealth, change in mindset is required by using a five-step process. For change management to be effective, the first process is to face one’s own fears and doubts by accepting that existing beliefs fail to support wealth accumulation.
The second step is to identify sources of money scripts by examining past incidents and associations. The third step is to accept existing circumstances to promote change and be ready for its implementation.one must have a strong hope and envision about the future as the fourth step in change management process. Finally, the last and fifth step is to combine all four subsequent steps to transform one life in an instant.
Actions for Creating a S.A.F.E. Financial Relationships

A couple should form a joint money script productive enough for wealth accumulation by managing those issues and money related conflicts having potential to create problems in relationships. Both should reach a final agreement for commitment to actions, being supportive to each other and remain with each other I the face of emergencies/difficulties.
