Technology is improvement in efficiency in the production process. Due to globalization, technology has a great impact on the developing countries. Countries like china are now able to produce cheap and quality products due to improvement in the use of technology in the region. Even though most of the developed countries aim at meeting the local demand, the surplus is exported to other countries. The less developed countries are therefore able to acquire goods at a cheap price. On the other hand, technology has negative impact on the economies of developing countries. This is because these countries depend heavily on the countries with better technology therefore production in their country is low and hence unemployment in these countries is very low.
Technology in less developed countries is very advantageous. This is because technology facilitates production hence employment in these countries. Technology enhances creativity and innovation that is advantageous to any economy. With technology, developing countries are able to export products hence the economy of these countries grows. However, inappropriate technology in less developed countries can be bad if it creates unemployment and expensive for the countries. Therefore even though technology is advantageous to developing countries, some types of technology can be disadvantageous.
Technology has affected political alignments in many ways. With development in technology, competition in the world market has increased causing national rivalry. This makes countries to pass laws putting limitations on other countries. Countries are also organizing themselves politically such that they are able to benefit from each other from trade. In addition, countries with better technology are seeking for better political relationship with those countries that lack advanced technology so that these countries can benefit through exports to these countries. These relationships are being created through political funding.
