“Seven steps” answers to “tell me about yourself”.
Step 1- I love nature and its variable characteristic. As nature changes and demands the adaptability from the creatures, I, too, constantly look for my adaptability in accordance with the changing conditions.
Step 2- My friends and acquaintances frequently call me a ‘super cool’ person. Perhaps, they have never seen me losing my temper and showing an outburst. I want this image to persist.
Step 3-Some of my friends are invisible, but profoundly helpful and inspiring. They are challenges, opportunities, responsibilities and targets that excite me a lot. I use them as scales, with which, I measure my confidence level and success.
Step 4- My worst enemy is complacency because that means stagnation. I keep challenging status quo and have got significant success in bring about positive changes.
Step 5- I believe more in action than in words. Words only commit things but action fulfils them. So, action has an edge over words.
Step 6 – I consider myself- a solution- rather than a prospective employee. This is driven by the need of the companies to hire solution- providers and not merely employees.
Step 7- I don’t forget to talk to myself at the end of the day. This is to find out ways for making the next day better than today. This is my way of introspection, which unfolds many avenues for future improvement.
Ans- Natural Weakness- Since I believe in perfectionism, not many match my expectations. I expect my associates to completely devote themselves to work in hand with no personal distractions. While doing so, I ignore their personal obligations. Having received many feedbacks in this regard, I have changed my approach, and I look at things from their perspective now. In many cases, I have found justification in their responses. Now, it is my priority to be more sensitive to others.
True Weakness (Hidden Strength) - I have come across many instances when I went out of the way to help others. While bailing out people, I subject myself to a greater risk and discomfort. But that is how I am. Despite possible dangers, I can’t remain an onlooker, if I spot the victim of a road accident. I can’t silently see anyone misbehaving with a lady. I have and I will intervene, irrespective of adverse consequences.
Ans- For inspiration, the ‘dog’ is my favourite or I would say, its loyalty is an enviable aspect. Despite being abandoned by its master, it doesn’t abandon its loyalty towards its master. I have displayed such loyalty on a few occasions in the past. Secondly, the creature, whose qualities are similar to mine, is the ‘pigeon’. It symbolizes peace. When I say peace, it is internal as well as external- internal is to be created and external needs to be spread. Thirdly, I can also be compared with the eagle because my dreams and spirits soar in the sky, as the eagle flies high.
