Project Name: “Bukhoor”
An appraisal of the project from an investors perspective casts light on to a number of issues that need to be addressed so as to make the project appealing to an investor. First and foremost is the need for a comprehensive executive summary. This section should highlight the key points within the project, that should be made to stand out to the investor. Such a summary should communicate to the investor, the scope and size of the opportunity, the business and profit model as well as what creates a unique value proposition, or advantage for the company, in relation to the other players. It should be a compelling and easy to read and captivating section.
Company analysis
This section is well handled in the group project. Notably, however, more needs to have been done, especially with regard to what makes the company uniquely qualified to serve the given market or market segment. Being one of the first sections in this project, a lot of weight has to be put on the competence of the company to deliver, as a key point on the onset so as to capture the attention of an investor
Industry Analysis.
Management Team.
An investor would be very interested in knowing who the key personnel in the business would be and what are their key competences and qualifications. In this regard, the investor would also like to know who the key business advisors are and what their roles would be in the business.
Lastly is the financial plan. In this section, the group should capture the financial need to start the company, proposed uses as well as expected and projected future revenue streams of income. No investor wants to get into a venture that will have negative returns. Therefore, the group should come up with the projected financial statements such as income statements, cash flow statements as well as balance sheets
