In addition, this development is leading to ever-changing trends in the contemporary markets, hence making it difficult to predict the consumer behaviors.
Uncertainties and weak economic conditions have resulted in less spending behavior of people, which has consequently lowered job opportunities.
There is stiff competition from my fellow college graduates in the market, who have similar qualifications.
My career is prone to obstacles and challenges such as inadequate training and education programs, which are essential for motivation.
Target Market
I am seeking for a career opportunity in the Marketing and Advertising fields where I can collaborate with external and internal teams to establish innovative campaigns that facilitate brand awareness and increase sales. I am also willing to enter into a career that involves developing sustainability strategies, safeguard the target's reputation, and manage business risks. To fit in this area, I have gained substantial knowledge of consumer behavior, market research, sales, and general marketing. I would be pleased and satisfied to work with the service provider organizations that provide marketing services such as promotion, advertising, and public relations.
Marketing Mix
Product
The product strategy of my marketing mix is defined by my skills and strength that make me unique. For instance, in my class discussion group, I have been a leader, and this has helped me to acquire leadership. In addition, have acquired several professional membership in groups such as Marketing Association and Economic Association in our college. In addition, I am confident that I have all that it take to get the job as a junior marketer in the entry level. As soon as I graduate, I will compose a resume and a cover letter that show my potential employees my interests and my desired career.

Similar to the distribution strategy of the company's marketing mix, this component constitutes of the "set of individuals" that will be helping to distribute my product (my skills and strengths) to my potential employers. Such people include placement offices, recruiters, my friends, family friends, alumni, and professional meetings. My distribution channels include networking, job-hunting on the Internet, visiting the University Alumni Offices, and recruitment advertising/job posting. However, due to heavy use of the internet by many potential employers, my most significant distribution channel include job-hunting on the Internet.
Price
In the marketing field, this component of the market mix shows the perceived value of the product in exchange. However, in my case, this component represents all forms of compensation that I am expecting from my potential employers. Concerning the salary, I am expecting to earn approximate of $42, 000 per year. I am ready and willing to negotiate for the salary. Other compensations that I may demand from my potential employer include medical insurance, life insurance, vacation days, pension plans, 401(k) plans, employee assistance program, paid holidays, and accidental death insurance.
Implementation, Evaluation and Control
Implementation
The first step involves graduating with a desirable grade to qualify to be a marketer at the entry level. The next step will involve applying for the job or internship to increase my experience as a marketer. Similar to the brand awareness in the marketing perspective, my brand awareness involves informing the potential employers that I am looking for a job in a marketing field. The promotional strategies that I aim to use include online searches, attending professional events and professional associations, strategic alliances, and networking. In addition, I will be active in sending direct emails to the potential employers to notice them about my presence.
Evaluation and Control
I will be conducting face-to-face meetings, email survey contacts, and phone conversation with the employees from various organization to determine whether my product meets their requirements. In addition, such interaction will help me understand the potential employer's needs. Some of the anticipated findings involve determining whether I fit in the potential corporate culture. Even if I do not fit in some organizations, I will use the findings to improve my product to please other potential employers. In addition, it is important to conduct the sales analysis to compare my actual performance to target performance in an organization.
