Rationale for joining the National League for Nursing
The National League for Nursing is a professional nursing organization whose members promoted excellence in providing quality nursing education in order to build a strong and efficient workforce (National League for Nursing, 2011). The main reasons for joining the National League for Nursing are summarized below. Firstly, the organization provides an intellectually working environment that promoted autonomy and flexibility. Secondly, while in the organization I will be in a position to carry out various researchers that will broaden and advance my knowledge in the field of nursing. I will strive to produce as many publications as possible through the help of my colleagues in order to give me more prestige. Thirdly, as a nurse educator I will earn value in the society giving me an opportunity to travel anywhere in the world to explore my teaching career. Finally, I will be in a position to shape the healthcare future through providing healthcare education to areas where other people have never reached.
Participation Plan
The following is an outline of the participation plan while at National league for Nursing:
- Approach the nurses associations and organizations for sponsorship and more information,
- Carry out the research as I teach people about health tips,
- Produce publications about my research and sell them.
Third World Countries are the most affected by health problems. By carrying out a research on how to maintain good health in such areas, people will start consulting me about solutions to health problems thus achieving my goals to join the organization.
Nursing organizations may contribute and support the development of my research in the following ways. Firstly, the organization should focus on introducing new models capable of managing complex healthcare issues in order to broaden the nursing education sector. According to Lenz (2005), necessary credentials are necessary for someone to become a leader in the nursing industry calling for head of organizations to introduce new and advanced teaching programs. On the other hand, the nursing organization should increase value and credibility of DNP programs in today environment by supporting a single model that creates value to all other programs.
