The staff of any business organization has to make decisions on a daily basis, which have moral and ethical implications. These decisions not only affect the company and its employees but also the shareholders, consumers and the competitors. A set of standard used to discriminate right from wrong is called ethics. Acting fairly and honestly is the demand of the business ethics. It incorporates actions without misrepresentations and deceptions, playing fair and honest competition, and performing within the bounds of the laws. Many organizations come up with the Ethic Rules and Codes of Conduct to provide basic guidelines to their allies.
Moreover, social responsibility is referred to as the commitment of the management towards the community and the others who are concerned about it. The long-term heeds of any business are fulfilled at best when the management considers social responsibilities. Hence, it is the responsibility of the management to assume whether their actions and policies are likely to encourage the public good and constituting stability and harmony in the society. Interests of consumers, employees, government, and the whole community are packed in social responsibilities .
A model of Ethics is well depicted in the movie “Remember the Titans.” The dispute of racism continues to divide any society. People have extensively divergent point of views on whether a problem exists or not. Most of the white Americans see racism vanishing from the society, and it is no longer any problem in America yet the majority of African-Americans are the view that it gets worsen day by day. The difference in perspectives exists because one of the races might suffer less from it, and they do not ascribe their misfortunes to race .
