The united states of America, Japan and South Korea has been raising their concerns on the nuclear weapon program of North Korea since a long time. Relation of North Korea with Japan, South Korea and the United States of America is in a bad phase. North Korea has threatened South Korea with dire consequences and a nuclear attack. In the May 2010, a South Korean warship was destroyed and sunk by the North Korean navy in the sea and forty six people were died in the incident. In this paper, we would look at several aspects related to the nuclear program of North Korea and its relation with Japan, South Korea and United States of America.
The Korean peninsula was under the reign of Japanese and liberated in the year of 1945. Japan’s relation with Pyongyang, efforts to make the mutual relation strong and ongoing talks with North Korea was affected negatively in the year of 2002, when it was revealed by the US that North Korea is making nuclear weapons and that the North Koreans had kidnapped dozens of Japanese citizens in the period of 1970 to 1980. After such revelations, Japan joined the United States of America and supported every efforts of America to stop the nuclear program of North Korea. A pressure and negative opinion was built inside the Japan against the North Korea and people started demanding to finish all kinds of relationship with Pyongyang.
North Korea also has retaliated against such policies of Japan and kept continue its missile and nuclear programs. The nuclear program of the North Korea has been supported by the other countries also and ties between china and North Korea are also a reason to worry for the Japanese, American and South Koreans.
The nuclear program of North Korea is a thorn in the eyes of the United States of America and imminent threat for the South Korea. America has several times tried to intercept the nuclear program of the Pyongyang but the later never gives an ear to the previous one. There was a chance of collision also at several occasions but North Korea also never hesitates to warn the Americans also with the dire consequences. The missile program of the North Korea is an advance stage and her missiles are capable to attack on South Korean, Japanese as well as American territories.
After having observed the above mentioned analysis of the North Korean affair, it is easy to understand that the nuclear program of North Korea has been a matter of concern for the South Korea, Japan and the United States of America. North Korea has threatened South Korea and also the America in case, America interferes in any affair of the Pyongyang. The matter should be dealt with the utmost precaution and there should be efforts to handle it diplomatically and peacefully.
