NGO: ‘Hopeful’
Introduction
We are a non-governmental organisation (NGO) called ‘Hopeful,’ working for the betterment and care of the hundreds of orphan children in Afghanistan. We cater to that section of the child population that is orphaned; disabled, destitute or abandoned. Based in Kabul, our community-driven organisation seeks to establish a compelling network of professionals and volunteers with a shared passion and sensitivity, aided by a common goal of striving for the best for such children.
Mission
Our mission is to take these orphaned children under our care and provide them with the essentials of life while taking care of their health, mental and emotional well-being and shaping them into happy individuals.
Vision
- Providing them with the basic necessities of life – food, clothing, shelter
- Providing them with basic education, which is the right of every child
- Ensuring good physical health as well as psychological well-being
- Incorporating recreational/creative and community activities in our NGO to instil team spirit and a creative bent of mind in the children
- Organize special sessions to interact with, and extend empathy to special cases
- Prepare them for the challenges of the world
End Goal
We were born with a mission to help and develop these underprivileged children to bring out the best in them, through means of life sustenance, education, healthcare and institutionally organized activities. Till as long we exist, this shall remain the goal towards which we shall strive purposefully.
