In response to this situation, a person eats healthfully even if the budget is limited to $40 a week. An average person may eat healthy, hence nutritious foods that cannot be too costly. One good example of budget-wise food is vegetable. People must learn to how to eat based on the physical body needs, not based on what the psychological appetite wants.
Fish is a good example of a healthy food that will fit the budget. It is will supply enough nutrition that are good for glucose transportation and for RNA and DNA metabolism. This will avoid damage to the brain and the nervous system. Fish is also a good source of iodine that will help the body when it comes to growth and immunity, as well as reducing the risk of goiter and hypothyroidism.
Taking complex carbohydrates is also a good example of food alternative that will fit the budget. Whole grain foods can be a better choice. This contains fiber, which is vital type of carbohydrate. Food intake that contains carbohydrate will help the body with proper digestion that avoids gastrointestinal problems and it also lessens the risk of having some cancers. You don’t have to spend much in getting a good digestion to prevent intestinal cancers. Wheat bread is one of the good examples of fiber-rich food that doesn’t cost much compare to cow’s meat that also have the same fiber source.
Meeting the nutritional requirements on a limited budget is possible as long as you know what your body needs to protect you from diseases and health problems.
Meeting our nutritional needs on a budget is possible. A person may follow some few tips like planning their meals that will fit their budget, make a list of foods that are equally nutritious, but less expensive like beans for protein, vegetables and fruits (choosemyplate.gov).
