It is with great remorse that I address you in this letter. On the behalf of Carnival Cruise Lines company and Carnival Splendor in particular, I would like to sincerely apologize for the dramatic inconvenience and distress issues that you have had to experience due to the unexpected circumstances.
It is my duty to inform you that the company will reimburse all the expenses you have suffered because of the situation: both the cruise cost and the further expenditure you have been exposed to due to the possible treatment. We realize that the disadvantages that you have endured while not having access to hot food, elevators, phone or internet access, were really challenging. Additionally, it must have been gruesome to realize that your lives were probably under threat. However, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that our crew did its best to supply whatever conveniences they could and to arrange the rescuing works.
Carnival Cruise Lines is a company with rich history and it has always prided itself on its punctuality, reliability, and being able to satisfy the demands of each and every client. We realize that this situation has given a strike to our reputation. However, we wish to assure you that we will do everything possible to return and retain our good name and to keep bringing enjoyment to our customers.
