The estimated budget for the project is $67,700 though the figure might be higher due to unavoidable circumstances. The report provides insight to week four’s schedule and the preparation set in place for week 5.
Executive Summary
The main activities for week four were finishing the roof, installing siding, soffit and fascia, plumbing, electrical installation and inspection, and framing inspection. Roofing, plumbing and installing the electrical units would take the whole week while the rest would take a day or two to complete. From the schedule, week four had the most tasks, hence, it would be quite a hectic week but manageable. As stated earlier, there were a few hurdles, but it did not deter the progress. Some of the hurdles were harsh climatic conditions and scarcity of materials. However, the team secured more manpower for the project and made a few calls to locate the materials needed but at a small cost.

Planned Activities Not Accomplished
Towards the end of week 4, only three projects were incomplete. For instance, the roof finishing and installing siding had a slight delay due to the acquisition of building materials. There was a shortage due to a recent storm, which caused havoc in Sunflower Valley. It lead to a slight rise in prices of building materials but Wendy, the procurement specialist, secured them at a higher price of 20 percent. Another issue was the new sliding door was not the one required, which means that it will require a special sealant. The good thing is that applying the sealant would only take one day but after the installation of siding was complete. Roley, the plumber was unable to complete his task, despite starting on schedule. However, he assured the supervisor that it was 90 percent complete, and it would be done on time.

Updates and Wrap-up
The project is on the right track and the hurdles in week 4 are off the table for now. The remaining tasks ought to be done with minimal inconveniences unless Mother Nature takes a toll on the project. It would be ideal to have contacts for other stores just in case of another emergency. The staff seem to be working well, despite a few hurdles. Overall, the project will be a success, and the new tenants will be pleased with the work.
