Dear Mr. White,
Re: Request to take part on a research
My partner and I are preparing to vividly explore the benefits of establishing a digital payment program in developing countries like the one that is currently used in Kenya. Moreover, we would ask the Gates Foundation for assistance in the grant. Therefore, we are humbly asking for your authorization to use some of pour work-time for this critical research. We are planning to use the last three hours of our work time each day for the next three weeks. Furthermore, we will gladly maximize the weekend to make inquiries and the much-needed gather data.
Every year, thousands and thousands of people all around the world transition out of poverty in a number of ways: among them is adopting new technologies. At the same time, a large pile of people, especially in developing countries, fall back into poverty due to financial setbacks, ill health, and other relative hindrances. To make the matter worse is the fact that the majority of those living in poverty lack the very basic banking services. Efficient and effective tools for activities such as saving, borrowing, spending, as well as mitigating financial can assist people to achieve greater stability financially over an extended period. Many poor households operate entirely on cash economy; which means that they use cash, physical assets, or financial providers like money lenders to meet the financial requirements. Nevertheless, these mechanisms can be expensive, insecure, or even complicated to use since they only offer a limited recourse to the problems. For development and security of finances to be improved a combination of mobile banking facilities that are readily available on digital devices should be established and brick-and-mortar facilities where people can convert their hard-earned cash into digital money. We chose the Gates Foundation to be our potential grantor because they have played a catalytic role in the broadening the reach of open, robust, and low-cost digital payment systems, especially in developing countries.
We hope that our request will be granted.
