The disable person can assist by doing an overview of his or her table time to strategize on how to spend time doing physical activities. It is fundamental to adjust the timetable to take into account any other relevant activities that do not reflect in the timetable. Establishing new idea and opportunities for the people would enhance their activeness in the participation in the physical activities.
The next essential steps is to talk out the “likes” and “dislikes” of the person and make appropriate measures or activities as an alternative option for the activities. These would be possible by utilizing the available resources in the surrounding and getting mentors to act as motivators for the person. The entire process would encourage the engagement and provide moral support to the disable people.

It outline on a variety of ways of an old man who did not take part in active participation the physical activities. The old man vividly reveals the extent to which disabled people should be assisted to take part in physical activities. For instance, the old man schedule did not include any special activity thus calling for moral support for health purposes. The suitable way to assist the old man is by following the stated steps. The motivation would enable the old man to develop a tendency of going for a walk and get actively involved in some sort of sporting. It simply means that the old man should play with some objects and join a community group that helps him in the entire participation.
According to Lante’s article it indicates that regular and active involvement in the physical activities would reduce the chance of emergence of any chronic illness due to the metabolic process-taking place in participant body. In other terms, physical activities play a major role in determining the health status of an intellectual disabled person.
