What would it be if singing birds don’t sing?
If sky is white and clouds are mellow green,
If shadows hide one human fellow’s sin.
How would he find his little wedding ring?
One day, I wish, I would come home from work,
And hear my little puppy scratching door lining.
I would hear birds so closely deeply sing,
I would hug my puppy, glancing at the clock
In light brown room, ignited only by the moon,
I sense that someone’s always watching me.
A pair of big owl eyes winking from the silent tree,
Assist my day from morning till the noon.
Owl winks and winks, and time is passing by.
One day I would wake up at dusk
And tear to shreds my horrid empty mask.
And from then on I’d better live that die.
I’ll take my dog, and we would walk all day.
We’d step at granny’s, drink warm herbal tea,
The most delicious tea that ever it may be.
And then we’d rent a boat and swim across the bay.
My granny’s house is always filled with news,
Some Anny from the 4th floor had gone mad,
And Jack from 5th had forgot to buy rye bread.
They might have helped each other, but where’s truth?
Kristina hides from neighbors while Penny greets them all,
Teresa sings as angel, Mark has a tremendous voice,
Little Maria from the 6th had lost her new adorable toys.
And Eric, as they say, had grown so tall.
I think of them while rocking on the waves.
Life brings together very different people on the stage,
It’s hard sometimes to find your people while you’re on an edge.
I think of people - have-nots and the haves.
As time goes by and memories fade,
I think too frequent what’s my actual fate.
I feel so sorry for those men who live
And never think what would it be if singing birds don’t sing?
