TWO-DAY OFF-SITE TRAINING SESSION FOR KUDLER FINE FOODS COMPANY
PREAMBLE
Training sessions are activities that are performed from time to time by company managers. Off-site training is a common phenomenon where the training sessions are done outside the location of the company. When there is a training session that is to be done, it should be taken to be a project altogether. There is a need to have the off-site training organized and managed in order to have accomplished and effective results. This memo is to highlight the objectives and the requirements for successful running of the project.
TRAINING OBJECTIVES
The main aim of this training is to have trainees have an off-site training session for Kudler Fine Foods Company. This training session will help the potential employees who will join Kudler Fine Foods. Another objective is to help in the facilitation of the training staff who will participate in the training. There is a need to ensure that they are reminded and informed about the training session. This is because of the distance of the participants and the trainers. There is also a need to ensure that the training materials are made available for the training session. The dates of the training sessions will be from 12th and 13th of June, 2014.
The training will have sessions of discussions, teaching, and computer sessions. The duration of the training sessions will be 7 hours per day. In these sessions, there will be time for computer learning, watching video, having reading sessions, and discussions. There will be mini-workshops that will be done in the course of the training.
The setting of the objectives is to ensure that the trainers will have plans to achieve the objectives of the training. There will have a baseline with which to base their training.
SCOPING BOUNDARIES USED TO DEFINE THE PROJECT
There is a need to include the scoping boundaries that will be used to define the project.
- The training will be done on a two-day duration. This will call, for the trainers, to ensure they cover the training requirement in the two days.
- Another scoping boundary is that the training should be done with the use of the tools that have been made available. The tools that will be used will be adequate in the training process.
- The training that will be done will be through video watching, reading, and group discussions. There is a need to ensure that all what is required to be achieved is done through these sessions.
RELEVANT FACTS REGARDING THE TRAINING
There are facts that are needed in order to undertake the training session successfully. Important information includes:
- There should be a structure and a plan developed that will be followed during the sessions
- There is a need to understand the channels and tools that will be suited to undertake the project
- There will be the need to ensure that there are breaks during the training sessions.
- There will also be the need to have question-time after the training. This will act as an assessment for the trainers.
- There will be a need to have accommodation arrangement for one night that the trainees will use.
- The number of training staff will be required. The staff that will be available for the training session will have to be assigned responsibilities.
This is the plan that will be used in the off-site training session. If there will be a need to make any amendments, then the suggestions will be welcomed.
