Firstly, what is quality? Quality from a personal perspective is that target outcome which is attained from specified characteristics of that of a product or service, which is pleasing to the customer using the product or service. Quality, however, according to Lifetime-reliability (2016), “is the degree to which a commodity meets the requirements of the customer at the start of its life.”
The quality of a telephone service is measured by three empowering factors they are; the key quality indicators, which includes the ratio of unsuccessful calls, the connection time, the time operators take to respond and the fact of correct billing are such variables that determine the quality of a telephone service but is not subjected to just the telecommunication industry. Live testing is another factor which allows the assessing of quality in specially correlated service for a specified time. Consumer survey provides data on the weakest components of the services gathering well-needed feedback.
Quality in the automobile industry can certainly be measured by the creation of a culture in which suggestion is offered from the employees as to improve quality and profitability. The making of a prototype, gives the industry the leeway, to carefully test, the vehicles on specified surfaces, weather- proofing the unit, meticulously test the strengths of the suspensions. The crash test is also a focal component of the quality rating the industry will receive as; this phase testifies to the level of safety which is designed with the occupant in mind.
