One of the most advertised brands in the United States today is Apple . With a reported advertising budget of about $1 billion in 2012 , Apple has been globally known as promoting its various products through different media: print, television, billboards, store displays, and online medium, among others. The company’s official website alone provides comprehensive information on its products and the detailed features that these products offer to consumers . Otherwise, there are strategically located retail stores which could provide consumers with all the needed assistance (provision of information on products, making a more responsible decision regarding purchasing any of the company’s products, seeking technical support, or just gathering much needed data prior to a purchase decision) . These stores also contain the latest product offerings and are complete with brochures, promotional campaign, and strategic price offerings to deserving as well as highly sophisticated clientele.
An advertising avenue that would help Apple create more brand awareness is through setting up retail outlets in every major shopping center; outside of the strategically established Apple retail stores. For instance, there is only one Apple retail store located in Arkansas, specifically in Little Rock at The Promenade at Chenal . Therefore, to increase brand awareness and to provide more information of Apple’s products, the company could set up various retail kiosks at major supermarkets in Arkansas. These retail kiosks should be manned by fully competent personnel who are comprehensively knowledgeable in all facets of Apple’s products, as well as information regarding technical support, alternative options for offered products, and provision of affordable payment schemes for qualified and determined consumers.
