The research focuses on both local and multinational companies and, therefore, wide research is required to obtain credible information. Research will be carried out using primary and secondary sources, the primary sources will include; interviews from management and employees in various local and multinational companies. Interviews provide first-hand information from the respondents; any clarifications that require to be made are easily made through interviews. The research involves asking more detailed information which is well asked in interviews. It is difficult to travel to all the multinational companies that will be involved in the research; video interviews will be done possible.
Questionnaires will also be sent to target respondents; there will be questionnaire questions for those in management positions and also those in junior level employment. After communication with the multinational companies, the questionnaires will be sent through the employee’s email addresses whereby they will be required to fill in the questions email them back. A research survey will also be carried out; direct observation will be the main research method during the survey. Secondary methods used will include a review of past research findings that try to address organizational behavior, the research sources will be from online databases and also from various research books.
This research will focus on employees in managerial positions and also the junior employees. The sampling will be done on a ratio of 2:4, whereby for every two employees in managerial position interviewed; there will be four junior employees to be interviewed. There are more employees who are not in managerial position and this will provide equality in information collected. The sampling will range from employees in the banking and also the manufacturing sector. Gender will also be considered when carrying out the research. The target population for the research is 500 employees in both managerial and junior positions. The sample employees will be both from the local and multinational businesses .Phase one of the research will focus on the local employees before shifting to those in the multinational business in the second phase. Before the sample is selected, there will be 1000 employees selected, those who will show interest in being part of the research will be selected, and the number will be cut down to 500 respondents, the sampling will be on a random basis depending on the position held by each respondent. Once the sampling has been done, half of the sampled number will be interviewed directly and also through an online platform for those in multinational companies and cannot be available for the local interview. The other half of the sampled population will be given questionnaires to fill.
