Introduction:
The impact of the new technology especially the invention and integration of the internet to scholars and students has been an important achievement in the education institutions. This topic is crucial because many scholars have developed different attitudes of internet by the computer experts. The changes that the internet has caused in the learning institutions and what is expected to change have challenged many learners and many of them have reacted differently. It is therefore important to investigate and find out the attitude of these students and scholars towards the changes that have occurred and those expected to take place especially in the cyber- centric curriculum. Its contribution on academic performance is very important and should be investigated (Jennifer, 2008)
This study will investigate on the following questions:
1. What is the attitude of students and scholars towards the invention of internet?
2. What is the impact of internet on student’s performance?
3. What are the expected changes in education due to integration of internet services?
Theses statement:
Attitude towards internet use within the internet setting are an important innovation in technology that will improve the school’s academic curriculum. Although the internet technology has been warmly welcomed by parents, teachers and students, it has been blocked by a big group of students, scholars, and parents who are resistant towards change (Krathwohl, 1988).
Objectives of the study:
This research study will find out the attitude of different students, teachers, and parents towards the technology of internet which is already incorporated in the learning system and curriculum. It will investigate the positive and the negative effect of electronic learning to the students and teachers. To be able formulate the relevant answer the research will find out the difficulties encountered by students when trying to apply the new technology. The stud will also find out the impact of the internet technology on students academic performance.
