The research could have been improved in several ways. These include and not limited to the following. In the data collection, the researcher could have used much smaller groups to ensure that every stake holder is fully involved and that the results are more credible. Proper sampling could also have been used among the large groups to make it smaller. The researchers could use better measurable variable other than perception. Perception is a subjective variable and thus cannot be a good variable to measure change. The researchers could have used a comparison between two periods of time of the progress to track the trajectory path of policy formulation, implementation and the results.
The research is well conducted with clear data collection process and appropriate use of relevant resource persons. There is evidence that, those involved in the research include top managers, middle managers and also the bottom rank of workers. There was also a detailed analysis of collected data that indicated the loopholes existing in the process of implementation of policies set out. There are however, weaknesses in the research. As mentioned on how the research could have been improved, the research uses a more subjective variable to measure progress of change. A better measurable and non-subjective variable could have been used. The data collection from large group as mentioned is subjective too. Better methods of data collection such as focused group discussions could have been more appropriate.
According to the research methods and data analysis provided, I am convinced that the resource people gave the best of their opinions. The lessons learnt are therefore, credible and acceptable. The existing loopholes and challenge are well articulated. It is also clear that the intended research outcome was archived.
