Musical Lyrics
The title of the song is Walk Away and the man behind the song is a British singer Michele Monro known as Matt Monro. As an artist, Monro has a romantic voice, capable ofsensitively caressing the ballads, and he provides pleasant vocal interpretations of pop and Hollywood standards. The artist writes the song for reasons such as being happy and being sad. The title itself reflects a negative meaning but as you listen to the entire lyrics of the song it conveys positive emotions. It is full of love, compassion, and great concern. He sings from the heart and soul.
The song is perfect for me and simply brilliant. It is a beautiful creation. In life, there are times that we need to walk away or letting go of someone special for you and somehow along the way you may able to realize that your decision is the best way to hope for the best and accept the truth. For me, Monro is an excellent singer. He is one of the favorite singers in the world regardless of age or generation. Monro is an all-time favorite artist and the song “Walk Away. “
Literature
Nursery rhyme is a traditional poem and a song that is known for young children in Britain and many other countries in the world. I am proud to choose "Baa, Baa, Black Sheep" nursery rhyme. This nursery rhyme is an English creation and one of the oldest surviving versions since 1731. There is a changed in the third stanza in particular, from “Yes merry have I,” to “Yes, sir, yes, sir,” and the rest of the stanzas are still the same.
There is an uncorroborated theory about the nursery rhyme that it is a complaint against Medieval English taxes on wool about the slave trade. Later in the twentieth century, it is subjected to a debate about political correctness. At present, it is used in literature and popular culture as a metaphor and allusion. Today, "Baa, Baa, Black Sheep" is considered as a one of the good nursery rhymes ever existed rather than being a negative in meaning; the positive view is that, the wool of black sheep is made into a dark cloth without dyeing. In fact, it is the first song ever to have a digitally saved and played on a computer.
Television/Movie
Recently, I watched a movie entitled “Like Stars on Earth.” The movie is about a nine-year old boy whose name is Ishaan Awatshi. Ishaan has an older brother who is intelligent and most of the time is being compared to him. He is a boy who always fails to complete his third grade in school for the second time. Ishaan is imaginative and creative in terms of arts but the moment he reads books all the letters and words seems dancing and he writes words backwards.
He skips from school to avoid trouble and stay away from his bullying classmates and bad results in his tests. His parent decided to send him to New Era Boarding School, a boarding school with a strict rules and regulations and serious academic standard. When Ishaan learned about it, he did not understand why his parents decide to send him to boarding school.
In the boarding school, still some classmates and the teachers did not understand his condition or his problem. Things happening in the boarding school have no difference from where he comes from and he has to contend with the added trauma of separation from his family. One day, Ram Shankar Nikumbh, a new art teacher influence his students with joy and optimism. Sir Nikumbh breaks some rules imposed in the boarding school. He allows the students to think, dream, and imagine and the students respond with enthusiasm except Ishaan.
After all the support of Sir Nikumbh and his family, Ishaan has a great improvement and he won in the painting contest in the school. The family of Ishaan is so proud of his great achievement.
People love to watch movies in theaters or in their respective homes and we follow larger film industry. There is a great difference of the films at present and the films 10 years ago. This is the growing scarcity of original stories coming from Hollywood or other film industries around the world. The movie “Like Stars on Earth” is an original movie from India film industry. The table below shows the comparison of films from the past to the present especially the issue about the closing of door on original stories in Hollywood. The movie comparison focuses on original, adaption, and sequels.
Hollywood filmmaking is an investment business; the studios give money to filmmakers hoping to make more money back. Now put yourself in the shoes of an investor. When times are good, you have extra cash flowing in, and you can invest in riskier investments where many fail but a few hit big.
Visual Arts
When an artist creates a visual work of art like a painting, the artist communicates to the viewers as a way communications. The words though are not spoken; the color, line, shape, and texture are the medium of communications. There are many things involved in a visual artwork. Many different things an artist can express just by making the different combinations.
The artist has many dreams in life. The colors signify happiness behind some trials. The four persons in this work of art represent hardship but still show courage to live and survive. It has a great impact in terms of struggles and ambitions. For example, if a family experience lot of problems they stand as one to fight for one purpose that is freedom to pursue their lives no matter what happens. I believe that behind all the hardships there will be a bright tomorrow.
Summary
The song Walk Away sounds sad in meaning but the true and deep meaning of the song shows genuine love. Letting go does not mean selfishness but it is honesty and love.
It has been argued that nursery rhymes set to music aid in a child's development. Research also supports the assertion that music and rhyme increase a child's ability in spatial reasoning, which leads to greater success in school in the subjects of mathematics and science.
One failed investment can sink an investor that is why some investors inclined to turn to safer investments. In movies, either the safest investment an investor can make is in a sequel or a story built from an existing franchise with a large fan base. In other words, making a sequel is Hollywood’s way of playing it safe because right now, original stories are just too risky.
The visual arts are especially powerful for most people. They are powerful for some reasons. First, people are a visual race. Human beings are primarily visual sensors of five-sense data. Second, so much of what people experience can be identified and recalled much more quickly with one picture. As it goes, "A picture is worth a thousand words." Third, people have parts of the brains very well trained from infancy to absorb and process visual images, brain parts that are quite different from those that process verbal thinking. Therefore, people are very primed and ready for the visual stimulation of the visual arts.
