Spirituality in nursing
There are several definitions regarding spirituality, but the common baseline for spirituality lies in the fact that all human beings are spiritual and this spirituality transcends beyond race or even the national origin. A person’s spiritual dimension is what makes them motivated and influences every aspect of their lives (Barnum, 2006). Thus, spirituality will ultimately have an impact in how they think, the way they act and their preferences in light with their values. To get resources that help deals with own grief, I would go for classes in spirituality or go to inspirational classes. Classes in spirituality include bible classes where people get guidance on life lessons based on biblical stories (Barnum, 2006).A person would conduct such cases by fellow peers or even spiritual leaders such as the pastors. Inspirational classes include lessons on real life experiences from different people and how they overcame these challenges. One of the favorite inspirational classes is those offered by the popular Oprah Winfrey. She covers the whole range of issues from different people and she is good at getting information from people in the most convincing way (Jones, 2011). Counseling sessions are also the best in dealing with grief. I would choose this source because it has a variety in all its sessions and is suitable for almost all the audiences. A person would get much help from these lessons given that they are accessible online (Jones, 2011). Counselling sessions are also preferable because they help one defines his problem to the counselor and boost self-confidence (Welshons, 2003).
