1. Now is the best time to consider pursuing the teaching profession. I enrolled in a trainee programme at a local school, and I learnt the necessary skills I would need as a teacher. Becoming a teacher is the best decisions I could make in my life because it gives me job satisfaction. I took time to consider what matters and discovered that contentment means more than just money. For committed teachers, there are plenty of opportunities to progress and take on additional responsibilities
Teach them what you are going to say, tell it, and then say what you taught. This is well known advice, and it is relevant to a teacher. I usually plan a lesson in order to differentiate students of different abilities, to reflect upon my teaching and make it fascinating and challenging. I also regard the importance of parents. I insist on building good relationships with the students, having engrossing discussions and involvement in different areas of school life. There exist challenges such as a poor student behavior and the irregular illness.
There are handfuls activities used inside and outside the classroom in order promote active learning. Complex forms of active learning include problem-based learning, simulations and collaborative learning. These are all acutely effective particularly in graduate and undergraduate courses where holistic learning is stressed, and students solve problems in “the real world” circumstances.
I would introduce a series about social justice and body image. This series will assist the students to think about their bodies and images in a social justice perspective. Every lesson looks into different aspects of the relationship students have with their bodies. The social justice series assists students take ownership over their emotions and feelings. The student will build up an activist stance in terms of understanding their image and managing their physical and psychological wellbeing. Besides sporting activities, which improve the physical fitness of the body, I would introduce fun days and hiking activities. During fun days, each student will contribute to the activity by coming up with a unique idea for the fun day. The students will visit nearest hilly region for hiking activities. In addition, each student will come back with a documented report detailing specific outstanding phenomena that he will come across.
In order to get the students' attention, I must have a wind chime in the room. When I run my fingers over the chime, and it sounds, I expect the students to look at me and wait for instruction. All assignments are turned in to the boxes. Homework s be turned in to the "Homework" box, and projects are the turned in to the "Projects" box. There is a materials box placed in each group. The materials box contains crayons, glue and markers. I expect students to return the materials to the box. Students normally ask permission to visit the restroom. Students who want to check into the restroom raise their hands.
2. A smartly designed and comfortable classroom invites student learning. Classrooms need to provide an excellent learning environment, encourage collaborative activities, and incorporate the use of multimedia. Student’s interaction is vital and is enabled by good eye contact, manner of seating, and good acoustics. The technology includes presentation technology, touch screen controller, computer network connections, and analog and digital storage devices. Every classroom is designed to include presentation technology.
Tends in teaching and learning determine the design of the rooms and halls. A substantial change affecting space requirements in the room involves the students’ growing demand for comfortable surroundings. This includes furniture that is reconfigurable, large and flexible. Increasingly, instructors develop new ways to promote learning, in which the teacher becomes the “guide at the side” instead of the “sage at the stage.”
In addition to the lectures with passive note taking and listening, instructors are introducing interactive formats. Students are divided into small groups, assigned a task to perform, and are asked to report to the class. The current teaching process exploits a wide range of room technologies: Web-base modules, PowerPoint presentations, response systems, DVDs, wireless microphones, application with annotation devices, and laptops. The pedagogical styles are likely to carry on into the future, and the design of a successful room must provide for them.
When administrators evaluate teachers, they carry a check sheet they are working from, as part of an evaluation process. I have come up with an uncomplicated way for administrators, without much knowledge about technology, may add to that list more questions. They will then answer by observing its use in a lesson. The following is the list that an evaluator will use in deciphering the way technology is used in a lesson.
