Dear Committee:
Throughout my studies at the University of New Brunswick, I have been met with many challenges and successes. I can proudly state that my studies at this school have afforded me many opportunities. However, when I think about my future career goals I realize that I still have aspirations that I wish to obtain. By continuing my studies at the University of New Brunswick I feel that I will have the chance to develop new skills that can launch my career to a higher level of success.
Upon enrolling in the fall of 2012, I felt grossly unprepared for University life. Moving to a new city, I felt very isolated and depressed. Family issues also contributed to this problem, causing my studies to suffer as a result. However after a short adjustment period I found myself becoming more acquainted with my new surroundings and was able to develop relationships with family and friends that I had been lacking previously. My grades showed a significant improvement throughout the winter and summer semesters as a result.
I feel that I am now better able to cope with any situations that may arise thanks to the relationships I have built over the previous school year. I endeavor to devote more time to my studies and continue to thrive in coming semesters. After reviewing my appeal I hope that you will better understand the circumstances in which put me in this position and my sincere desire to improve upon study and social skills that I had been lack in the past. Adjustment is often difficult for new students, but now I am looking forward to continuing my academic career at the University of New Brunswick.
Sincerely,
