Example Of The Influence Of Your Parents That Has Played An Important Part In Your Life Essay

All people have someone in their life, who are very important for them and influence their life considerably. Every day we meet many people, who play some role in our lives, but only some of them leave a remarkable trace in our experience. Some of them are close to us, while the others aren’t, and the time we know them can also differ. I think that I am very lucky to have my parents as such influential and important people in my life, as because of them I have a strong support in everything I do and I am sure that I will never be alone if I face any troubles. In this essay I want to describe the influence of my parents in my life and to show how incredibly powerful it has been, as a result constantly changing my life for the better.
First of all, I am grateful to my parents for showing me how to become successful in this life. From my early childhood I was seeing how they were setting and achieving different aims, which traits of character they developed in the flow of time and how important it was to be confident and positive-minded. Moreover, I saw how diligently they worked to achieve success, and consequently now I know that only those people who are ready to work a lot and become professionals in their field can achieve their goals. Observing their incredible personalities has taught me a lot, and I am still learning on their example. I think that it is really great that I have such people to follow, who are always ready to help me.
Apart from showing me a perfect example, my parents influenced the way I socialize with people. In particular, they showed me how important it is to help poor people, to be open-minded and ready to come to their rescue. As a reult, I didn’t grow up as a selfish and self-centered person. Instead, I am proud to be the person I am – always ready to help, to listen to other people and make a difference in this world. My parents also taught me to follow and respect family traditions. Every week my parents, sisters, brothers and I visited my relatives and I am really happy that we have such close connection in our family. Thus, these traditions will always be important to me.
Another way my parents influence my life, which is definitely positive and important, is their support in my education obtaining. Owing to their help, I have a chance to study abroad, for which I am very grateful. I understand that if I didn’t have such an opportunity, it would have been much harder for me to find a place in this life that best suits me. Accordingly, I’d have had to face a lot more problems and developing my character would also have been much more difficult. Apart from providing me with financial support, they always tell me how important it is to study hard and diligently. As a result of their advice, I have already understood, in which way I have to study to realize my potential and become a decent member of our society.
