Job Description
Job Duties:
Design, develop, maintain and implement the unit specific testing and validation processes including checklists, curriculums, and exams to ensure that the training support safe reliable refinery operations. Must ensure testing and training materials are accurate and up to date and are effective resources for training operating personnel.
Responsible for organizing and conducting training as needed for additional skills and knowledge required to support operations. They include topics in areas such as safety, environmental, necessary maintenance, and administration.
Responsible for periodic training programs needed to operations including new hire training, field and console simulation exercises, Op Tech and Console Supervisor revalidation, and contingency training.
Provide direction and oversee the work of any SMEs that are assigned to support the development and implementation of the Operations Training Program.
Desired Skills and Experience
Three years of relevant training and development related experience.
Interest in labor relations preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in using MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
High knowledge of PSM Regulatory requirements preferred.
Candidates must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credentials Card)
Requirement for Eligibility:
The security called Maritime Transportation Security Act needs all people who will require unescorted entree to a controlled facility to ensure they have a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC). TWIC is issued in agreement with the rules reputable by the United States Coast Guard and the Transportation Security Administration. Candidates selected for occupation must meet eligibility criteria to obtain a TWIC card.
