The main role of an Ultrasonographer is the provision of extraordinary care through performance of ultrasound examinations to patients for the identification of any abnormalities. Just like the University of Utah Healthcare, the salary range of an ultrasonographer at Intermountain Healthcare is done on an hourly basis. The ultrasonographer works for an average of 8 hours a day, and the salary depends on the level and experience of the individual. The organization, however, does not reveal the exact salary to third parties, though it prides in offering the best and most competitive salaries in the region. According to one of the employees, the average starting salary is between $20 and $25 per hour translating to about $60,000 per year on the lower side. This perfectly compares to that of the University of Utah Healthcare Ultrasonographers, thus demonstrating external equities.
Other than the salary, Intermountain Healthcare Ultrasonographer has access to several benefits that are very significant source of financial value. The salary and the benefits are the core determinants of where an individual chooses to work. An individual would prefer to work in an organization that offers better salary and at the same time enjoys better benefits.
