Food Safety Authority of Ireland has recently launched a consultation in connection to a new labeling requirement that would keep consumers updated with new trends like new law requirement and food packages. In relation to these updates, FSAI has created a website with relevant European Union regulations. The Food Standards Agency on the other hand has catered for the needs of the consumers by providing them with up to date information on the trend in food safety and measures. Trough linked cites, consumers can easily access any information they need regarding food safety. These links also keep them updated the food trend.
Based on these two websites, several issues emerge with visible limitations and comments from the consumers. Many people have extolled these companies particularly on their management and the kind of service they give to people. However these complements are accompanied by drawbacks where the Food Safety Authority of Ireland is blamed for its negligence in proper supply chain in the market. People complain for the irregular services by the company. On the other hand, the Food Standard Agency also falls short on service delivery and this has raised issues accrued from laxity in the company.
