Success is defined in many ways and through different definitions each encompassing different derivatives and components. Though it is hard to define Success in a standard manner, the most accepted definition of Success is: ‘The achievement or fulfillment of something desired, wanted aimed and/or attempted for’ Though it is hard to put a term as wide as Success in succinct and compact manner but the definition above somehow succeeds. Success is achieving your desire, success is positive and most favorable outcome one achieves when he/she puts in cent percent efforts. When one asked what success meant for him, Margaret Thatcher quoted, ‘I think it is a mixture of having a flair for the thing that you are doing; knowing that it is not enough, that you have got to have hard work and a certain sense of purpose.
Success is a very vivid term and is relative. It means something different for every person. For some success is happiness and contentment, for some it is money and prosperity while for others it is fame. Success constitutes of many different parameters for different people. It means full control of life for some, happy family and stable marriage for some, satisfaction in the occupation or profession, achieving and keeping good friends and relationships. For many it means making others happy and serving humanity.
Success is a Pandora box and it has something for everyone. Ambitions and passions drive ones success and its definition. Everyone wants success, everyone craves for it but only a few realize and the prime reason is people fail to understand what success really is. People spend their lives looking for success or to be successful but end up in mess because they don’t recognize what exactly they want from their lives. Success has to be defined first before one embarks on the journey

Thomas Alva Edison failed numerous times before he finally invented and came up with an electric bulb. The failures pushed and encouraged him to look for different solution each time and ultimately he succeeded with an invention which lightened up generations.
