There is no a definite answer to this question because in some aspects people are alike and have many similarities, while in others they are absolutely different. These differences and similarities are going to be discussed further in this essay.
In regards to similarities, it might be concluded that all people are alike in terms of their physiological features. For example, all people on the planet have one head, two hands and two legs, therefore it is easy to distinguish them from other creatures and animals. Facial features of people are also similar, even though if people belong to different races and ethnic groups.
Though physically most of people on the planet are alike, they also have many differences, though they are not so obvious at first sight because most of these differences relate to people’s personality, individual traits and interests. For example, all people have different temperaments. While some people are very emotional and belong to cholerics, for example, others are melancholics – the type of people, who are calm and do not like openly to express their feelings. Thus, it is possible to say that people might be different in terms of their behaviour and their expression of feelings. Also, people are different in terms of their intellectual capacities. It means, for example, that all people in the world have different IQ that is characterized by people’s different ability to learn and retain knowledge. Furthermore, all people have different ideas, opinions and interests, which is influenced and shaped by their different lifestyles and habits.
Summarizing all the written above the answer to the question, how people are alike or different is following: people are considered to be alike in terms of their general physiological features, such as parts of their body, genetic code and appearance. However, they are different in terms of their internal features and interests: all people have different IQ, interests, ideas and hobbies.
