Nurses in their day to day activities which are aimed at providing ultimate care for the patients encounter various anomalies. Some of the problems that present in their line of work require the nurses to apply a high level of professionalism in making the clinical judgments. Therefore, conducting evidence based research is integral to ensure that the judgment which will be made is backed with credible evidence. Nurses therefore are required to explore past studies regarding the problem, understand the inferences that were made and combine with other information from past studies, experience and inter- professional team advice to make the ultimate judgment. Without prior education that essential III offers, nurses might not be in a position to make sound judgments.
