Discussion: Public Relations
The most used media kit
The news release will be the most utilized tool by the press due to several reasons. First, it has huge viewership, and large populations around the world usually rely on news release for information. Secondly, more people tend to believe press releases than other media kits. Importantly, most people view this media kit as authentic, and that is why it is has gained trust. Thirdly, it is cost effective (Diggs-Brown, 2011). Compared to other media assets, the news release is relatively inexpensive, and it spreads virally.
Discussion: Intro to Law
Roles of law enforcement in the public and private sector
The private forces usually emphasize proactive measures while public police focus on active actions. While the private police prevent crime from happening, the public authorities concentrate on punishing the offenders. Additionally, private forces emphasize on private justice while federal police focus on court proceedings. Also, in most states, the private police do not have arrest powers (Joh, 2005).
I agree with the trend towards private forces replacing traditional public-sector police agencies. Private police seem to be more efficient than the public forces. They prevent crimes and other uncertainties from happening rather than taking an active approach. These forces have flexible operations depending on the prevailing conditions (Pastor, 2003). Also, the wages of private forces depends on their performance, which encourages them to discharge their duties effectively.
Entities in the private sector that would use similar types of law enforcement functions as those in the public sector
Critical entities in private and public sector can utilize comparable law enforcement. The entities include Cybersecurity, hazard mitigation, transport, and public health. These sections can have detrimental implications; thus, they require similar law enforcement from both sectors.
