I think that Natasha understands some of the drugs that are used by criminals to commit date rape. She shows her understanding by mentioning and describing Ketamine as one of the drugs used for this purpose. She also mentions Rohypnol, which is widely used, and gives a brief description of how the drug affects the body. I agree with her on the criminal penalties that are attracted by such crimes, which include 20 years for an individual who is caught distributing the substance to another individual who has the intention of misusing the drug on rape crime. This is in accordance with the Drug-Induced Rape Prevention and Punishment Act of 1996 (Act), 21 U.S.C. Sec. 841(b)(7). I also support her statement on the Act establishing penalties that are unforgiving when it comes to the distribution of this drug, which happens to facilitate a date rape crime. That needs to be brought to a stop using the law.

Miley shows an understanding of the club drugs used in date rape and goes on to give examples. She gives a description of the drugs and names their medical uses. I agree with her on the uses of both Ketamine, which is used on animals and can be misused by adding it in drinks and result to negative side effects as mentioned. I also support her explanation for how Rohypnol is used in medicine. The drugs are used by criminals to commit the drug induced crimes. Lori mentions that there are laws that address the misuse of these drugs, which according to her are dealt with at a federal and state level. However, there is need to stop some loopholes. I support Lori about the information from the websites she mentions which areUSlegal.com and Project GHB.org. Both websites contain information regarding the laws that concern the criminal use of these club drugs.
