Texas will carry out an election for the president of the United States in November, 2016. There are two representative parties: Democratic and Republican. Texas is one of the 12 states holding presidential election. Two major candidates of the current presidential election are the Republican nominee Donald Trump and the Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. I will try to outline the strategy Hillary Clinton should use to increase an amount of her voters in Texas. As you know, the Asian American population in Texas has grown in recent years. The well-known fact is that Ms. Clinton responded to the Arab Spring, that`s why she should pay more attention to such voters and stress that she will do everything in order to defend them.
It is very important for people to know that their president cares about health policy, and Hillary Clinton had such an experience as in 1993 she privately urged that passage of health care reform be given higher priority. Everyone remembers about The Clinton health care plan of 1993 or « Hillarycare» ( Livingston). This plan remains the most prominent national proposal associated with her.
As first lady, she led the fight to reform the American health system so that all families would have access to the care they need at affordable prices. When different companies which were connected with it and other special interests defeated the effort, Mrs. Clinton didn`t give up. It wasn’t unnecessary for her at that time to what party she belonged to, she cooperated with Republicans and Democrats to create the successful Children`s Health Insurance Program. To demonstrate her achievements and successful deeds should be the main line in her election campaign this year. I am sure that all people, whom she helped will vote for her.
Moreover, she should attract women`s attention to securing their welfare and remind that together with Attorney General Janet Reno, she created the Office on Violence Against Women at the Department of Justice. So she may apply for feminists and have their support. Clinton is a woman, first of all, and perfectly understand all the women`s feeling and needs. Also Clinton initiated the Adoption and Safe Families Act. ASFA marked a fundamental change in child welfare thinking and avoiding child maltreatment. It affirms that she takes care much of the health problems of her citizens. She also supported different children`s health programs and tried to help women who suffered from breast cancer, and everyone who had prostate cancer, asthma and the Gulf War syndrome. She has concrete deeds about which she can report to everyone in order to remember it. She has a support already from people whom the American politician helped, especially from women. She had no one presidential campaign during her political career and know every field of country management. In her campaign, she could lay the stress in such issues. I suppose, citizens of Texas and The United States of America on the whole would trust their welfare experienced politician who was and remains one of the active woman of not only The Unites States, but also the whole world.
In this spectrum Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are different personalities, as Trump began his career as a businessman and investor and has a poor experience in politics. During his career, Trump has built golf courses, hotels, casinos He is one of the wealthiest of 400 billionaires of the world and made his accent mostly on the erecting real estate. He decided to be engaged in politics in 1988 not making up his mind what way to choose. Donald determined his political positions in different directions over time. Some politicians have described his position as «improvisational» and contradictory because Trump`s party affiliation has changed over the years. So, his politician way is unclear despite Clinton`s route, which was always fixed. She is a faithful Democratic Party and today, even the presumptive nominee of the Democratic Party for President of the United States in the 2016 election. He was eager to win presidential election in 1988, 2004, 2012. In spite of the fact that he is the main nominee of the Republican Party, the Republican establishment opposed Trump`s candidacy, doubting his chances to win the general election. They feared he could cause harm to the image of the Republican Party.
Clinton has some strengths upon the other nominee in this respect. She should pays voters’ attention mostly to the fact that she has strong political view and determined policy that is aimed at welfare, financial stability, health care of the Americans, stable inner and outer politics of his country. The Republican leader has right saying that The United States of America and other countries have got to be more united in preventing today`s aggressors from taking a more aggressive position. The nominee of the Republican Party shows and has to show further that will not allow to demonstrate aggression nor towards the Americans, neither all the humanity. In such a way a lot of people from different countries who live in Texas would vote for Hillary Clinton for sure.
Besides, one of the main lines in her campaign must be accented on her knowledge of political nuances. Saying that «I know political ground, the rules of engagement. I have respect from many noblemen all over the world.» will help her to defeat competitors. If she knows for sure that she can improve different fields of life for all citizens she must just say it and demonstrate throughout her political activity. Sincerity to all voters must be her best friend. People feel it and know that when a candidate tries to hide something from them.
She must convince all the voters that she does not make a show from her election campaign. She shouldn`t, of course, specify at her opponent`s drawbacks and do everything in order to throw a blemish on Mrs. Trump, but she could mention that she has not a relation to show business and will not intend to make PR based on the current election. In her campaign would be better to accentuate on her big experience and proper education. Then she developed her skills and knowledge in politics and social activity, when she tried to do her best to help all people. She served as the United States secretary of State from 2009 to 2013, the junior United States Senator representing New York from 2001 to 2009 She just has been living in this all her life.
