Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is a USA agency that deals with matters concerning the safety of the U.S citizens by checking off the terrorism outside and within the country. This body, mainly operates in airports and it contains many staffs that take different duties ensure maximum security of the country by scanning and screening the aliens that enter the country. Most of the employees working with TSA are armed Federal Air Marshal, mobiles dog handlers and screening agents. They ensure that no entry of terrorists in the country. In addition to that, they ensure the safety of all the citizens by controlling bombs and other deadly weapons ( National Research Council, Transportation Research Board, Commercial Truck and Bus Safety Synthesis Program, and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, 2003). However, some agents are traitors hence cooperate with terrorists and for that matter, U.S citizens lack trust in them.
Employment of the security workforce in TSA is not specifically based on education level, unlike Israel security agency it depends on physical training that entails handling of weapons and, screening gadgets and dogs. Therefore, it would be advisable for Transport Security Administration agency in U.S to adopt the ways of Israel agency. The most important measure to be adopted is hiring agents depending on their intelligence as in Israel. This because the agency involved in security in Israel employs members depending on their intelligence, personality and behavior (Ṭal, 2000). A team that is able to attack a problem from the root. In case of foreigners’ entry into the country, there is a team allocated for friendly questionings. Their aim is to identify the nationality of the individual aliens, their belonging and purpose in the country they are in. Moreover the government of Israel supports the agency by ensuring teamwork from all the Israel citizens in identifying and stopping the terrorists in the country. These measures would benefit U.S a lot. For the betterment of security in the USA, it will be in order if TSA is abandoned and security measures of Israel are adopted in the country.
