Analysis and Recommendation of Nimble Storage
Analysis and Recommendation of Nimble Storage
Political
Nimble Storage is a registered in the U.S., and it is directly affected by the political factors in the country. The U.S. has a strong democratic system, and it is governed by the rule of law with elections being considered as fair and transparent. The USA has massive political influence in international affairs and is regarded as a superpower because of its leadership in the economy, military, and technology (PESTLE Analysi, 2014). Nonetheless, other countries criticize it for its approach to the “War on Terror,” and this has affected its relations with some countries particularly in the Middle East where they most terrorist groups are believed to be.
Economic
The U.S. economy is the largest in the world with a DDP of about $17 trillion. The country has a very robust economic system, especially in the service and manufacturing sectors. However, the economy went through a recession from 2007 to 2009 which affected the employment rates and business profitability in a big way. The economy has successfully recovered, and it grew by 1.9 percent in the third quarter of 2016. The biggest threat is the increasing budget deficit which is over $600 million (PESTLE Analysis, 2014). Nimble Storage is operating in an industry that is experiencing hyper-growth phase as companies are looking for solutions that will enable them to store their large data at lower cost and higher performance than what they have. In fact, it was estimated that the demand for data storage would continue to grow at high rates until 2020 (Bahrami, 2015). Competition in the data storage is very high with big players like NetApp and EMC having entrenched operations.
Social
The U.S. is facing the challenge of an aging population, and this will lead to a serious problem of labor shortage, and the government may have to increase tax rates to fund social benefits schemes. The U.S. has one of the best healthcare and education systems in the world with most of its people having liberal mindsets. However, the racial intolerance has increased in the recent past especially because of the perception that police discriminate against some racial groups as well as the use of racial statements during campaigns for the just concluded presidential elections (PESTLE Analysis, 2014). Another social issue in the U.S. is the high number of illegal immigrants, and it is estimated that more than 11.7 million people live in the country without proper documents.
Technological
Technology and innovation are the backbones of the country’s economy as the country has been the leader in the recent advancement in information technology. The U.S. is the home to hundreds of global tech companies but competition from emerging economies like China, India, and Korea. Nevertheless, the role of U.S. in nanotechnology, biotech, and environmental technology at the global level cannot be undermined (PESTLE Analysi, 2014). Changes in technology will affect Nimble Storage especially the need for rapid accessibility, efficient retention, and protection of data will determine the amount of money enterprises will spend on acquisition of data storage equipment and software (Bahrami, 2015). Technology disruptions in technology are a common phenomenon in data storage industry such as the emergence of flash discs and highly powerful data analytics capabilities.
Environmental
The U.S. has many and strict laws regulating pollution of the environment, and many manufacturers have related to developing economies like China where the environmental laws are more lenient (PESTLE Analysi, 2014). The cost of complying with environment requirements can be very high as even consumers are sensitive to the way businesses deal with these issues.
Legal
The U.S. is governed by the rule of law, and it has a robust law enforcement agencies and functional judiciary (PESTLE Analysi, 2014). Commercial cases may take between few weeks to years depending on the magnitude of the issues to be addressed by courts.Hofstede’s Four Cultural Dimensions of the USA and Brazil

Recommendations
With the increased levels of technology development, the organization need to develop storage systems that work well with different brands since customers are increasingly becoming aware of different brands.
The organization nee to ensure the availability of support officers and systems that can enable clients to solve issues facing the storage systems associated with the company.
The organization has been using predictive analytics and technology is perceived as the best approach to win wars associated with storage.
Further, the organization has to expand and continue the scale-to-fit recommendations to enhance optimal cache and usage of systems in different organizations.
