Owing to the fact that learning in an academic institution is a comprehensive process, students are exposed to a wide spectrum of stressors. This situation is mainly attributed to the fact that they are compelled to appreciate the content being put across by their teachers while handling their personal affairs simultaneously. According to the Journal of Organizational Behavior (2016), active stress development hinders the overall cognitive abilities of an individual thereby limiting their productivity. As such, students are less productive when they are exposed to the vulnerabilities of stress in their academic institutions. To prevent mediocre performance due to stress in the academic field, determining the stressors and finding appropriate measures to neutralize them is imperative. This research is aimed at determining the implications of stress among male and female students and to establish the role of societal intervention in its prevention. It answers the following question; does stress among students lead to burnout, and can it be prevented through social intervention?
Slide three
This research is significant as it provides a comprehensive approach for determining the existence of stress among students. Additionally, it outlines the implications of stress on the productivity of students within the academic context. Therefore, it makes it less challenging to distinguish the activities that lead to stress or lack thereof in the academic context. Finally, this study will determine if psychological interventions such as counseling or support from family and friends’ aids in minimizing the level of stress among the affected students in the academic context.
Slide four
This research is aimed at proving the association between stress and burnout in the academic context. Additionally, the study is aimed to distinguish the effects of stress among students. Finally, the research will establish the relationship between the stress levels experienced by male and female students in school.

Existing literature will provide a steady foundation for the scope of this study. Specifically, the research will rely on the insight provided through other researchers. Relying on existing content as the primary source of information is resourceful as it will strengthen the information gathered through the fieldwork or observation activities. The time frame for conducting this research will be approximately four weeks. A large section of this period will be spent on fieldwork activities and the analysis of the existing literature. Utilizing multiple approaches in the data collection method is a productive approach as it will aid in answering the initial research question. Additionally, if a specific data collection method does not provide the required insight, the alternative methods will be resourceful. Ethical issues such as violation of privacy in the observation process will be dealt with by following a right approach in seeking permission from the institute’s management and conducting the process in public places such as halls.
