There are many weaknesses associated with the APA guide for diagnosing treatment. The first weakness is that the guide does not have a reference or standard laboratory for diagnosing the patients but is solely based on the assumptions. The other critical gap of the handbook is that it lacks the procedure of differentiating between the religious disorders and the psychiatric. The other weakness of the guide of this body is the use of different segments or different nomenclatures. These nomenclatures bring confusion in the system.
