Multiculturalism in the workplace is an interesting topic because the modern business environment and globalization make multiculturalism and diversity widespread in organizations. The key idea is that multiculturalism is the result of globalization, and managers of companies should properly address this issue. The first thing is to consider multiculturalism and diversity in multinational corporations. I am going to use an article written by DeLancey (2013), which studies employees in Singapore. Next, I will reveal how to make properly manage multiculturalism and make such diversity more open to changes. It is essential to prove that all employees need a safe environment with the same opportunities. Thus, I will use a source written by Mazur (2010) on theory and practice of multicultural diversity. The third thing is to reveal cultural dilemmas and problems and propose how to foster job satisfaction and positive well-being in such workplace by using a book named Intercultural Interactions in the Multicultural Workplace: Traditional and Positive Organizational Scholarship (2017). I am going to argue that multiculturalism in the workplace is the result of modern development, which may positively impact business in case of proper management of such multicultural environment.
