Introduction
The world is now experiencing a shift from the industrial age to the digital or information age. Though most industries have reduced the need for manual labor force and shifting to the use of automated machines, the health of employees will always remain in some form of risk. Because of the several instances of unhealthy environment in the work place, employees feel stressed, and they can suffer from much worst ailments. Our natural environment has also changed a lot because of the developments in the society. The air that we breathe is now very polluted. Water and land pollution has now become a common daily problem. The current condition of the world in the modern times can pose a very dangerous threat to the health of people.
Body/Discussion
The first factor is the intensity. It is necessary to pattern the intensity of the training to the capabilities of the person. Like in my case, it is very important to consider one’s age in choosing the type of activities to be performed because I also dictates the extent or degree of the intensity that I can withstand while training. You should keep in mind the importance of practicing progressive overload, or the gradual increasing of the stress caused by the training to the body, rather than just abruptly increasing in the hopes of better results, which in this case, is a healthy. The second factor that you must consider is the duration of the activities that you will be doing. Younger people have the ability endure longer durations of training. Unlike older adults, our body has more limited capabilities of endure long training periods, because our body is not like our bodies when we were younger. Choosing the right duration of the cardio-respiratory activities, when will be able to better gauge their strengths, and can therefore have room for adjustments. One must consider the concept of reversibility, before engaging in trainings. It is important to know how to weigh the advantageous effects of the training one can lose, if s/he is not able to continue the training. The last factor to consider before engaging in cardio-respiratory trainings is the frequency of training. This factor is very much important to decide on the appropriate frequency of the activities, because overdoing trainings ill have serious effects on the muscles of the body. One way to help in choosing the frequency of training is by considering the training threshold one body is capable of. By following this, you can be sure that training is safe and effective for you. All of these factors should be considered with equal importance for they play a large role in the body’s capability of homeostasis, or its ability to adapt to external changes in the environment. One should also keep in mind the concept of specificity, in order to achieve one’s goal and purpose in training.
Conclusion
People nowadays should be very aware of the importance of physical fitness. I have come to realize that a person’s life span really depends on his/her lifestyle. With practicing a healthy lifestyle, I have somehow mastered the act of discernment. This just means that it’s not only the muscles, and the body that becomes healthy during trainings, but also the brain. Practicing a healthy lifestyle has enabled me to have a clearer and more peaceful mind that is capable of doing and choosing right decisions. I chose this lifestyle simply because I want to live longer. With the changes that are currently happening in the world, the life expectancy rate of humans is continuously declining. This only means that we should double, even triple our efforts for a healthy body, and a healthy life.
