I had my vision tracked into becoming a business woman even before. The field of business promises constant challenge due to increasing demand for innovation in the market. It is nothing short of learning and opportunity due to its wide horizon of linkages to other aspect of society. In this light, it is with great enthusiasm that I wish to apply to Texas Tech University under the Rawls College of Business to major in Business. My main goal is to continue my education that was delayed due to my decision of withdrawing from the entire Fall Semester at The University of Texas two years ago. The decision came after I got pregnant and had to complete stop due to the sensitivity of my pregnancy. It was difficult for me because I wanted to finish my studies on time, but I had to think of my child. In addition, decided to withdraw so that I can save my GPA.
My life was changed when my baby was born, in 2012, together with my husband we moved to Lubbock and opened a successful Foundation Repair business. My inclination towards pursuing a course in business was further deepened due to success of our business. I carry with me my signature brand of enthusiasm in learning and even more now that I am not only doing this for myself but for my family as well. I am more matured both physically and mentally now and will be my edge in handling the difficult requirements of the program. I want to continue my studies because one of the greatest yearnings in life is to earn a diploma that symbolizes accomplishment.
