The importance of the family in each person's life can not be overestimated. The family gives us support, encouragement, warmth, communication skills, first lessons of love. It helps us to develop character, learn to overcome difficulties, and so on. If the family is prosperous and much attention is given to each member of the family and the child in particular, the child will be more confident in life.
Of course, the most important role in the life of every child is played by parents. Children imitate parents, they want to be like them. However, paternal and maternal love is not the same for the child.
A mother's love is unconditional love. Mom is ready accept her child in any way (good or poor, healthy and sick, and so on) and loves she him only for what he is. The inability of the mother to love her child has a negative impact on the formation of child’s self-esteem, self-awareness of the child and his ability to love. The lack of unconditional love of a mother is especially pernicious for the girls. This creates a feeling of loneliness and insecurity in relationships with peers and adults. It is also the result of a lack of love in childhood or excessive demands of mother may be the presence of low self-esteem for already an adult woman.
However, for the developing individual, the excessive mother love, self-sacrifice is perhaps more destructive. Those girls whose mothers sacrifice their personal life for, grow selfish, incapable of love, or dependent. In any case, neither one nor the other will not help them to live a happy and successful life.
Father's love is not as absolute as the mother's love, it is more demanding, but no less necessary for the child's development. Child comes to his mom for regret and to share with her sorrows and joys. With father, he shares his achievements, expects him to praise and approval, calls for protection. For girls dad is also very important, girls focus on his mind in assessing its feminine qualities. Thus, the female character in childhood is formed by two components: the example of the mother and father evaluation.
And so, the child's relationship with his mother is based on feelings and relationship with his father the relationship is based on actions. However, this does not mean that father can not love the child just so, or that the mother should not assess its achievements and actions. It is not so simply to understand the complex relationship of children and parents. You can only determine that the result of the love of parents is the feeling of a child's self-esteem, family togetherness, the desire to be like them.
For the formation and development of the child's personality, not only his relationship with his parents play an important role, but also the way parents relate to each other is very important. The model for future family life is formed in the childhood. Looking at the attitude of parents to each other, an ideal model of a girl's own future family is created. Since early childhood, she knows the responsibilities of family members and how both parents should treat their children. Of course, over time, this ideal model will change, but the change will be just in some of its features, but the essence remains the same.
