For the last four years I have been working as an Intervention Cardiologist. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working in this field and I am now keen to undertake additional training in Vascular Diagnostics and Intervention. I would like to apply for the fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital as I believe I have the skills, experience and enthusiasm required to excel in the program.
I have worked in cardiology for eleven years, having originally completed my fellowship at New Jersey Medical School, and I am committed to my career in this area. While my interest in cardiology is broad, I am particularly attracted to the clinical spectrum that the field of Vascular Diagnostics and Intervention encompasses. I have a strong desire to become adept in a variety procedures, and I am keen to pursue substantial clinical research in the field.
I wish to undertake the Vascular Diagnostic and Intervention Fellowship Program as I am keen to gain wide experience in comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic strategies. I am particularly interested in diagnosing conditions such as venous thromboembolic disease; hypercoagulability.
I am fascinated by catheter-based interventions as well as optimal treatments. I am enthusiastic to learn from experts in the field as well as to positively contribute to the department. I would very much welcome the opportunity to obtain the Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation certificate.
I am conscientious, disciplined and one hundred per cent dedicated to achieving highly on this training program. If accepted onto the program, I intend to bring forward my experiences as an Interventional Cardiologist in order to hit the ground running. Thank you for considering my application.
