Men and women are human beings but the two belong to two different schools of thought. This is normally portrayed through the actions that precede their thoughts. Both exhibit different characteristics in regard their after thoughts therefore confirming the claim that both think iv very many different ways. This then translates to what both view as right and wrong because they have different perspectives anyway.
Virtue ethics is normally seen as a way of acting in accordance to acceptable norms in society (Code 18). This therefore translates to a person being seen as either good or bad in respect to their actions. Care ethics on the other hand is seen as a practice of virtues that make up the fundamental elements of human life. It therefore seeks to explain how relationships work and in these regard between care givers and care receivers. It can therefore be said to be a form of virtue ethics because it is a pointer to societal expectations which are in a nutshell looked at from the perspective of virtues.
Virtue ethics propagate the idea that happiness is the ultimate end of human action which in away is a weakness because many a time, happiness is not achieved. But on the other hand, when looked at critically, it is the fundamental blueprint against which society achieves its sanity (Held 118). When issues to do with morality which is a rather private matter is subjected to legislation, it removes the essence of virtues directing all societal actions which should be virtue oriented because it is what is acceptable. They should therefore be left to judge actions and not be in legislation because this way the use of common sense is rendered useless.
McMurty is one critique of monogamy that is against forced monogamy. First he says that marriage creates more harm than good. He goes further to say that a monogamous marriage restricts spousal love for children and also partners may alienate partners. This is not true because in such settings, the love between the members tends to be greater. Considering Rusell argument on sexual ethics, it is true that it is impossible to deal with sexual intercourse outside marriage because of the influences that humans are exposed to.
