The senior recital concert organized by the Department Of Music and Dance kicked off in time as organized. There were various recitals done. Of particular interest to me was the composition by Robert Dick Fish are Jumping.
The tune Fish are Jumping by Robert dick was amazing. It was captivating to hear the sound and the planning that went into composition of the tune. The flute solo was filled with thematic nuggets. The following are some of the music elements of the composition I enjoyed at the concert.
Rhythm
The first element of music I enjoyed was the rhythm of the tune. The rhythm represented the time element of the tune. The pattern could be heard in relation to the steady pulse. The tune was enigmatic and the patterns were just amazing.
Melody
This is the musical line of composition or the combination of pitch and rhythm. Fish are jumping had this soothing and amazing melody. The melody represented the theme of the composition. The rising and falling in intervals of the composition were just angelic.
Timbre
This is the sound quality or the color of the tune. Fish are jumping has this quality that is easily distinguishable from the instruments. The quality of sound in this piece was just amazing. The concert could never have been any better.
Dynamics
Music dynamics represent the softness or loudness of a tune. Fish are jumping had moderate dynamic range. It had loud but not annoying loud passages. We enjoyed the recital of this tune to bits. The range was just moderate enough for everyone to appreciate the art that went into composition of Fish are jumping.
Texture
Fish are jumping has this soft monophonic. The tune has a great simple melody and an amazing combination of the instrument. I enjoyed every bit of it.
