Some of the communication strategies and concepts that can be adopted by a contemporary organization will be discussed in this paper. These are as follows.
Leadership strategies are one of the aspects that need to be highlighted. This will be discussed with reference to Darling and Beebe (2007). The main issue that will be addressed in this case is the manner in which the leadership strategies adopted by an organization can affected the communication within.
The paper will also look at the culture of an organization and its relation to communication. Organization culture is a common term used to define the manner in which an organization is run (Brown and Starkey, 1994). The concern of this paper is to define how culture affects the communication in an organization.
There are different forms of organization that can be adopted in the modern day communication. However, the communication mode chosen needs to be appropriate for the situation. As such, this paper aims to analyze formal and informal communication. It will give a recommendation on how the employees can employ these two in order to streamline communication in an organization.
Conflicts are an everyday occurrence in the business setting. However, the manner in which they are handled can affect the communication within an organization either positively or negatively. This paper will look at how both of these can arise. It will recommend on what method should be adopted in each case.
Lastly, the essay will look at an aspect of communication that is very important; active communication. It will give the different forms of active communication, their advantages, and how they can be applied in communication.
After looking at all these aspects, the proposal will give a conclusion in terms of recommendations of the strategies that can be adopted so as to enhance communication in an organization.
