The United States government involves the separation powers to give each segment of the government the freedom to execute its roles independently (Thurber & Antoine 123). Based on my opinion, Madison believes that the separation of powers in the governmental setting will lead to the subdivision of roles; the three arms of government will have the ability to operate independently of each, other.
Additionally, the division of roles will make it easy for the government to handle various tasks bestowed upon it by its citizens (Thurber & Antoine 124). It will be possible for one arm of government to act as a reconciliation body. For example, when there is a misunderstanding between the civil servant and the federal government, the judiciary serves as a reconciliation body, by bringing both parties to a central position and ruling for a fair solution to the problem at hand.
I agree with argument that Madison’s claims are relevant in the contemporary era, because, the Constitution withdraws excessive power from the president (executive) and distribute the powers to the other governmental agencies for execution (Thurber & Antoine 125). Therefore, one arm of government cannot be able to mistreat citizens because the other two arms will intervene and justice will prevail. Therefore, the subdivisions of the government are quite vital in the current era.
Finally, based on the quiz, it is possible to assess a person’s political affiliation in various ways ("Political Spectrum Comparison Tool, Demographic Data"). The quiz will offer one an opportunity to rate their ability to deduce their political as well as economic stands. It is possible through the assessment of one’s mind, to determine the beliefs of a person about their political and economic parties, national origin, and their level of patriotism ("Political Spectrum Comparison Tool, Demographic Data"). It will be possible for one to know the appropriate stand to take when faced with issues about politics and their lives in general. Therefore, based on the quiz, it is evident that the subdivision of governmental roles offers some form of freedom as suggested by Madison because one has a right to choose for themselves an appropriate leader as stated in the constitution.
