Dear staff,
It has come to my notice that some of us are plagiarising their work. Let me start by saying that plagiarism is a serious threat to writer’s career growth and development. It may lead to low-quality work and if exercised severally may render a writer jobless. In school setting, the penalties of plagiarism may be very severe to the writer such as given the grade F and a suspension for a whole semester. Therefore, it is very important for writers to look plagiarism as a very important academic misconduct and avoid it all through.
As a result, it is important for every one of you to exercise professionalism in research and report writing in order to avoid plagiarism. Therefore, we as writers we need to be original when we are writing reports and research papers. In the event where we have to use other author’s work, it is important to acknowledge that the words used are for someone else. We need to focus on thinking and understanding whatever we are to write, being original in whatever we write and finally clearly signal whenever using other people work in order to acknowledge them. All said and done we will continue to grow and develop our carry to a great height in the future.
I am looking forward to seeing cooperation and adherence to academic conduct.
Warm regards,
James Brown, Director, Staff.
