Airline Safety
The Air Transport Association (ATA) of America is the airline company who commits greatly to the safety issues, which is clearly stated and promoted by its official website. "Safety is our number one priority” (Air Transport Association Official Website) – claims ATA on its official page. ATA also argues that commercial air travel “operates the safest mode of transportation” (Air Transport Association Official Website). The company appeals to the principle of social proof, proclaiming that 2 million people use their service every day, and thereby evoking trust concerning safety issues. At the same time, ATA approaches the issue of safety strategically, introducing its commitment to safety in a structural way and differentiating its 3 key elements: partnering in safety and security, enhancing passenger experience, and streamlining cargo operations (Air Transport Association Official Website).

Nonetheless, there are many of those who believe that the potential of air travel is still greatly untapped. For instance, “The Future of Flight” summit which ATA took a part in has gathered the experts who believe that the future of the airline industry and the U.S. Airlines in particularly are undoubtedly promising (The Editors of Airlines.org Blog). By claiming so, they resolve that the airlines will keep on investing into customer service, meaning, enhancing the level of flight quality, making it faster, safer, greener, and more convenient to its customers, thereby attracting a greater number of people to use airline services. A slogan of the ATA goes as following: “We Connect The World” (Air Transport Association Official Website), therefore the future of air travel implies a possible expansion of its destinations a better accessibility to the places all over the world.
